About the event
Lawrence Hill is an internationally renowned author and inspirational speaker. He is known for his 2007 novel The Book of Negroes, which was inspired by the Black Loyalists who resettled in Nova Scotia seeking freedom and a better life.
Although the Apex Golf Tournament organizers are highlighting the rich history and social impact of the Apex Golf Tournament, which dates back to 1974, our proverbial “hole in one” is the scholarship fund which has now contributed more than $112,000 to aspiring youth pursuing their dreams through post-secondary education.
It is a pleasure to have Lawrence Hill join them for this auspicious occasion.
All proceeds from the 50th celebration will go to the Apex Scholarship Fund. In addition to our esteemed special guest, there will also be local entertainment. Join us for an enjoyable evening and a worthy cause.
